Pinto-Leon Law Firm
Ignacio Pinto-Leon is licensed to practice law in New York (2007), the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas (2008), and Mexico (2000). His professional practice reflects his dual expertise in the legal systems of Mexico and the United States. Mr. Pinto-Leon offers expert testimony in Mexican law to American litigators and also practices U.S. immigration law, representing foreign nationals and their U.S. relatives.
He is an adjunct professor for the Introduction to the Law of Mexico course at the University of Houston Law Center (UHLC) and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). Additionally, he is a co-founder of the American Academy of Mexican Law Experts® (AAMLE), the first U.S.-based hub of knowledge and expertise in the field.
Mr. Pinto-Leon received a master’s degree (LL.M.) from the UHLC (2006), a specialist degree in Constitutional Law and Amparo from the Universidad Panamericana (Guadalajara, 2002), and a Bachelor of Laws (Licenciatura en Derecho) also from the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico City, 1999).
Attorney Pinto-Leon volunteers at immigration workshops with the Consulate General of Mexico in Las Vegas and has a weekly radio show on Radio Maria Spanish USA, Inc., where he also sits on its board of directors.
